MISSION By Ruth henry-ovid / July 6, 2016 Share Tweet Pin Share A couple of years ago I went through a really tough time. I separated from my husband, was made homeless and realised I had dyslexia and dyspraxia and that my son had Autism. I experienced blame, shame and a bout of depression that would have definitely consumed me if I didn’t have faith that it would get better. In addition a friend that I had known for since childhood cut off all ties, which kind of broke my heart. It’s crossroads between where you stand right now and where you want to be, while being happy with where you are, right now! It’s finding paths to growth that you discover once you connect the dots looking backwards. You look backwards at the lessons learnt, because you have not failed, you have just found ways not to do it (yes I just misquoted Edison)!
