Bryson Tiller TRAPSOUL album cover

Bryson Tiller – Don’t

[dropcap]M[/dropcap]y daughter obsessively played Bryson’s tracks and after listening to this on repeat through the walls for the last year I guess I have come to understand exactly.

  1. Bryson reminds me of a fresh Drake, I know, I know this is Bryson not Drake. But as humans we always go to the comparison as that’s how we recognise familiarity.  I like Bryson because his voice is smooth, lyrics are clever and has a supportive team behind him.
  2. He is explicit, but there is a clean version of his T R A P S O U L album. So if you cringe every time you hear swear words then have no fear clean version is here! This is now the only version that get’s played at home and in exchange I don’t dance in public (when my daughter is around a least lol).
  3. The production on this album is on point, ‘Sorry Not Sorry’ track is reminiscent of a classic computer game like Alex Kidd in Miracle World (this was a classic on the Master System)

Bryson is clearly a talented musician and I can’t wait to hear more from this newly signed RCA artist.
